About me
After a substantial career in university education, I practiced in different clinics and hospitals which enhanced my skills towards the treatment of Substance Use Disorder. I embarked on a career as an Addiction psychiatrist as I found it more meaningful. I am now a chairman of “Umeed Clinic” which is a registered addiction rehabilitation center in Pakistan. I am providing services in different hospitals and non-profit organizations and working with a variety of issues with people from all backgrounds and cultures on a short, medium or long term basis on need.
My Qualification
I have completed my MBBS from Punjab Medical College, Pakistan in 1989. I have completed diploma in Psychiatric practice in 2004 from King’s College Landon and Ain Shams Faculty of Medicine, Cairo, United Kingdom (UK). I have completed International diploma in 2009 from The Royal College of Psychiatrist (UK), I am international certified Addiction practitioner ICAP –II in 2014 from Colombo Plan Drug Advisory Program. I have completed my international fellowship in 2015 from American Psychiatrist Association USA.
Experience in the Field of Prevention
I have been involved in different Project Management, Policy Making, Professionalism, Community Services and Social Project Management on Substance Use, Gender Affairs & Mental Health. I was also involved in Cultural Adaptation of the different Prevention Curricula with UNODC Pakistan.

Consultation Charges
I offer consultation on the following basis;
- Once, twice or three times per week at regular time slots.
- International Individual: USD 30 fee for 30 – minute consultation.
- Pakistan: PKR 4,500 fee for 30 – minute consultation
